"Will come inside your house and hit you...": Salman Khan Receives New Death Threat, FIR Registered

Bollywood actor Salman Khan received a death threat on Sunday via a message sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police's WhatsApp helpline. The Worli Police Station has registered an FIR under Sections 351(2) and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Investigation is currently underway.

According to police sources, the threatening message stated, “We will come inside your house and hit you,” and also made a reference to a potential car blast. The timing of the message is significant—it comes exactly one year after a firing incident outside Khan’s residence.

Sources have confirmed that while the tone of the message is similar to earlier threats, there is no direct mention of the Bishnoi gang this time. Efforts are on to trace the origin of the message and identify the sender.

On April 14, 2024, two motorcycle-borne assailants opened fire outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra during the early hours, around 5:25 a.m. The attackers, later identified as members of the Bishnoi gang, were arrested and charged under various sections of the IPC and Arms Act. The incident led to heightened security around the actor.

In another incident in 2023, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had openly threatened Salman Khan in an interview from jail, claiming the actor was on his "hit list" due to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Bishnoi, who considers the blackbuck sacred to his community, had vowed revenge.

Khan has been under constant police protection ever since these threats emerged. His security cover was upgraded to Y+ category in late 20
