Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan filed his nomination papers for the Assembly elections from his traditional Budhni seat on Monday. Nominations were due on Monday, with the voting process begins on Tuesday. “Today, I am going to fill out the nomination form after worshiping Narmada Maiya, Kul Devta, and Vijayasana Maiya from my birthplace. We will serve the public and will do it in such a way that the world would remember that someone had come,” said Chouhan, prior to filing his nomination.

Taking to social media platform ‘X’, the incumbent Chief Minister said, “Filled the form today with the blessings of the public…handed over the responsibility of campaigning for my assembly to the public. While going for nomination, the same voice was heard everywhere... "We are with you" And this is what I know in my heart...My people are always with me."

On this occasion, CM Chouhan was accompanied by his spouse, Sadhna Singh Chouhan.

CM Chouhan visited his village Jait in the district before filing nomination papers, staged a roadshow, and addressed a public gathering in the district. "I want to tell the women of the entire state that in the coming five years I will make every sister a Lakhpati Didi."said the CM while addressing a public rally. "Development work will be done here as well as in the entire state, no stone will be left unturned. I have come out to change the times, I have not just come out to contest elections, and I have come out to change Madhya Pradesh and to change Budhni, “added Chouhan.

Madhya Pradesh is one of the five states holding Assembly Elections this year. Voters will select legislators from the 230 Assembly constituencies, the state will go to the polls on November 17, and the votes will be counted on December 3.
