After the massive victory in Rajasthan, Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has blown the bugle for the 2024 general election, calling the mandate in state assembly election an indication of a “guaranteed hattrick in 2024”. During the victory celebrations at BJP headquarters in New Delhi on Sunday, PM Modi has warned Congress and the parties part of opposition INDIA alliance bloc reiterating the “Ghamandiya Gatbandhan” jibe that is not interested in working in the interest of the nation.

“No matter how good the picture comes out but you can’t win the hearts of the people. ‘Ghamandiya gatbandhan’ has no vision to serve the nation. They can grab media headlines but they can’t grab the hearts of people. This mandate is a support of people in our war against corruption. They call the agencies names and cast aspersions. This mandate is warning for the Ghamandiya alliance. Mend your ways” said PM Modi during his victory speech.

He thanked the people of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh while assuring that even after not being able to win Telangana, BJP will “remain committed in serving the people of the state. He however began his speech by saying “the sound of this victory should reach Telangana” where Congress has wrested power from BRS. Congress won 65 out of 119 assembly seats. “Wherever there has been corruption, people have rejected the state governments- be it in Rajasthan, Chattisgarh or Telangana”, he added.

The Prime Minister made special mention of women and backward class and attributed the victory to their overwhelming support. In Madhya Pradesh the ‘ladli behna’ scheme ensuring financial assistance to every women in the state, according to poll pundits, had turned the tide in favour of Shivraj Singh Chauhan government. PM dedicated more than 10 minutes of his hour long speech after thanking the women which accusing opposition of trying to play divisive politics.

“I want to specially thank the women who have given their support. When women become the shield then nothing can harm you. Today every sister and daughter think that BJP is the biggest guarantee for their security and progress. Progress of women is an important milestone in the growth of BJP. I would humbly tell the women of the country, all the promises will be kept. And this is Modi’s guarantee. Modi’s guarantee means guarantee of the fulfilment of all the guarantees.” PM Modi said while claiming, to BJP, there are only four castes including women, youth, farmers and the poor for who they would remain “forever committed”.

In Rajasthan BJP won 115 out of 199 seats; in Chattisgarh BJP decimated congress in their bastion and won 54 out of 90 seats, while in Madhya Pradesh proving every exit poll wrong, BJP won 164 seats out of 230. In his attacks on the opposition, he claimed the opposition forces have been siding with the vision to make anti India forces stronger while warned people to stay away from such attempts and narratives.
