RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Friday joined Congress’s 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' led by Rahul Gandhi in Sasaram, Bihar. Tejashwi Yadav took charge of driving the lead jeep, with Rahul Gandhi and other leaders on board, as the yatra continued its journey through the last leg of its Bihar chapter.

As per reports, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar will appear alongside Rahul Gandhi at a public rally in Dhaneychha within the Durgawati block of Kaimur. "Today is the 34th day of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra and Rahul Gandhi will have conversations with farmer leaders in Rohtas today...Today around 2:30 pm, Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi will address a gathering in Kaimur and at around 5 pm, the yatra will enter Uttar Pradesh,” said senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh.

This is the first time the RJD leader will be seen sharing the stage with Rahul Gandhi in Bihar following Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's departure from the INDIA bloc. It is also important to note that Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi pairing up together comes amidst several fallouts in the INDIA alliance with TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee, National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah, and the Aam Admi Party in Punjab have decided to fight solo in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, shunning the possibility of allying with Congress.

The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will enter into Uttar Pradesh's Chandauli on Thursday. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is set to accompany Rahul Gandhi in leading the yatra as it ventures into Uttar Pradesh. This yatra will continue in Uttar Pradesh till February 25, with a hiatus planned for February 22 and 23. Throughout this period, the rally will traverse various regions in Uttar Pradesh, engaging with local communities and addressing their needs.
