Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut criticised the NDA government for not allowing a discussion in Parliament on issues related to national security, saying that Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi has important information about India’s international policy.
On the first day of the week, the Budget Session ended with protests by Opposition leaders against the current conflict in the Middle East, creating chaos when the External Affairs Minister was giving a statement on the conflict. On Tuesday, before the session, Sanjay Raut described the stand of the government as “the silence of weakness” in the language of the Shiv Sena.
Raut said, “Rahul Gandhi possesses important information about India’s international policy, but the government does not have answers to his questions. While the government claims to support peace.” Raut also linked the conflict to the Epstein files, claiming that they are a major reason behind the war. Referring to allegations involving Donald Trump in the United States, he said that Jeffrey Epstein was Jewish and connected to Israel, and claimed that Israel had used him to trap many global politicians and industrialists.
Sanjay Raut also said that the United States sank an Iranian ship within India’s maritime territory, resulting in the deaths of 100 sailors. He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Israel before the conflict, and that India did not express condolences even after the alleged killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, despite Iran being an old friend of India. Raut said that the flames of the war have already reached India and are affecting inflation, fuel prices, and employment. He demanded that the government allow a discussion in Parliament on national security issues.
