Re-polling commenced at 11 polling stations in the inner-Manipur Parliamentary constituency on Monday following reports of violence during the initial polling day on April 19. The Election Commission ordered the re-polling after incidents of miscreants opening fire and damaging EVMs were reported at several polling booths in Manipur. Security measures have been heightened to prevent further violence during the re-polling process.

The affected polling stations include Moirangkampu Sajeb Upper Primary School, S. Ibobi Primary School (East Wing), amongst others.
