Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Monday unveiled the party's manifesto ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, set for February 5. The manifesto outlines a range of initiatives, with focus on women's empowerment, youth employment, and the enhancement of public services.

Kejriwal introduced the manifesto with a list of 15 key "guarantees," calling them "Kejriwal ki guarantees," a reference to the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) use of "Modi ki guarantees." The AAP leader proudly claimed, "We coined the term ‘guarantee’ first in the country. After us, the BJP stole it, but the difference is, we fulfil our guarantees, and they do not. These are not Modi's guarantees, they are Kejriwal's guarantees."

The AAP Chief announced that if voted to power, Rs 2,100 in direct cash transfers would be given to eligible women. “This is for empowering women and addressing their financial need," asserted Kejriwal.

One of the promises in the manifesto includes free bus travel for all students and a 50% discount on metro fares.

The manifesto outlines several other significant measures that include guaranteed employment for youth, the ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’ offering Rs 2,100 monthly financial support for women, and the ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’ which guarantees free healthcare for senior citizens.

The party also promised to waive outstanding "hiked" water bills and ensure 24/7 clean drinking water supply to every household in Delhi.

In a bid to address environmental concerns, the manifesto includes a pledge to clean the polluted Yamuna River and improve Delhi’s road infrastructure to international standards.

Under the Babasaheb Ambedkar Scholarship Yojana, AAP has promised scholarships for SC and ST students to study abroad, while also extending free bus travel and metro discounts to male students.

The AAP further promised financial assistance offering Rs 18,000 monthly aid to priests and Gurudwara Granthis.

The manifesto also includes commitments to improve Delhi’s sewage system, issue ration cards to those missing from the system, and provide Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) with funds to hire security guards.

In a direct response to the BJP's election promises, which include granting ownership rights to residents of unauthorized colonies and cleaning the Yamuna within three years, Kejriwal accused the BJP of copying AAP’s policies. Former Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia also criticized the BJP, calling their promises an "admission of defeat."

The Assembly elections are scheduled for February 5 in Delhi, with the votes set to be counted on February 8
