Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of now jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday announced that he would reveal all the details of where the money of the "so-called Delhi liquor scam" before the High Court on Thursday. Mrs Kejriwal added that the AAP Chief would provide evidence to refute the allegations.

“Arvind Ji has said that in the investigation of this so-called liquor scam, the Enforcement Directorate has so far conducted 250 raids, they are looking for the money that was taken from this so-called scam. However, the central agency has not been able to find a single paisa. They have raided the houses of Manish ji, Sanjay ji, and Satendra ji, but they have not been able to find a single paisa….The question is where is all the money of this so-called scam? Arvind ji has said that he will reveal where all the money is before the court on March 28. He will reveal all the details to the country and also give all evidence in connection with it,” said Sunita Kejriwal in a video address.

Arvind Kejriwal’s wife shot out at the central government and criticized their actions, alleging a political motive behind the charges against her husband. She highlighted the lack of evidence found by the ED during over 250 raids related to the alleged liquor scam.

The AAP Chief was arrested by the ED on March 21 in connection with the Delhi excise policy case. He was remanded to ED custody until March 28. He was arrested shortly after the Delhi High Court rejected his request for interim protection against coercive measures. Kejriwal's arrest was made under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. The case revolves around allegations of irregularities and money laundering related to the formulation and implementation of the Delhi excise policy in 2022.

The arrest of Arvind Kejriwal has sparked widespread outrage, leading to calls for his resignation from the BJP. However, the AAP stated that Kejriwal will continue to serve as Delhi's chief minister, even if it means operating from jail. AAP leaders have changed their social media profile pictures to show solidarity with Kejriwal, who issued a message from jail urging his supporters to remain steadfast in their commitment to society.
